There is a gap between what leaders believe and what people are actually experiencing. The gap prevents people from getting the known scientific benefits of gratitude. I’m not listing those benefits here because they can sound too sales-y or even outrageous, and that is not me.

I know, I believe, and I have personally witnessed the power of gratitude, both personally and professionally. I’ve interviewed grateful leaders, done the research, and pulled it together with the intention of presenting it to you clearly and succinctly.

After 25+ years of practicing gratitude daily, and 4+ years of writing, with many plot twists, I present what I hope for you, what I aim to convince you of, that the gap is real, and how to close your gratitude gap.

I’m giving myself a new title: Gratitude Gap Closer. I’m not a gratitude expert. I’m someone who helps you build stronger gratitude through speaking, leadership coaching, and how I live.

Now, more than ever, in the age of AI and uncertainty, human-centric leadership matters. Gratitude is transformational. It is a foundational leadership skill that builds confidence, strengthens trust, improves decision-making, and has many other outcomes.

I’m not talking about fake or prescribed gratitude. I’m talking about authentic gratitude. Because gratitude that isn’t felt doesn’t count.  Let me help you make it visible.

The book is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other retailers. Today, it’s available in paperback and e-book, with the audio version coming this fall.
